I am Kara (Swift) Hyde. What's unique about me? I've lived all over, but I've always been an Ocean City native and resident. Ocean City is not just my home away from home – it's home. I'm super devoted to and thankful for it and consider it an honor to work within this phenomenal community.
Marketing is where I got my roots.
I have a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from University of Richmond, which led to a successful and fun career in advertising and marketing for over a decade. As a media agency professional, I oversaw the strategy, planning, buying, and optimization of many large corporations' media campaigns (Sprint, SAP, Sanofi, AstraZeneca) as well as local and regional companies (Caron Treatment Centers, Sunoco, La Salle University). From print advertising to streaming TV spots, from lead generation to social media marketing, from Sports Emmy Award-nominated marketing programs to webinars for the most niche of vertical industries, I carry with me all the marketing glamour and grit into this new career chapter. My marketing expertise is versatile and will be my core asset leveraged as your REALTOR®.
Home means everything to me.
I have a passion for home design and functionality – from landscaping projects to recycling vintage décor to organizing a closet. I whole-heartedly believe in investing in the community you live in – from donating to or volunteering for a local charity or school to supporting a downtown business to planting a tree (or two). Moreover, I love building relationships. My diverse network of acquaintances spans beyond Ocean City – stretching from Haddonfield and Philadelphia all the way to New York.
